Job Description

Responsible for the managing flexographic and digital printing process throughout the SEE Network to ensure proper machines and processes to effectively print our products.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Work safely within local production facilities following all local and corporate requirements for personal and machine safety
•    Evaluate and select equipment including but not limited to print presses, pre-press equipment and associated printing support equipment
•    Key communication point between digital development team and Operations.  Provide tools to help with Digital print transition in Operations.  Facilitate sample generation, DMC calculation support, capital project budget/timing management.
•    Manage standard equipment list in coordination with Global Platform Team
•    Provide data and analysis on press performance throughout the network including recommendations for improvement and sharing of best practices
•    Manage equipment obsolescence
•    Coordinate Print Technical Team and associated actions
•    Primary regulatory contact between inks/adhesives vendors and SEE Regulatory
•    Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and post installation production qualification of new installations.
•    Up to 25% travel including international (valid passport required)

Qualifications

•    Bachelors degree in engineering or associated discipline 
•    5 years of experience in a technical capacity for production printing operations. Strong technical background with associated job history. Must be able to demonstrate usage of technical knowledge in associated work history.
•    Skilled in working effectively with all levels of organization (operators, technicians, engineering and plant managers/senior managers)
•    Independent, organized and disciplined with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. 
•    Ability to develop strong relationships and focus on problem-solving and developing solutions.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Accomplished computer skills; MS Office Suite, SAP, and Integrated Technologies.
•    PMP certification a bonus.
