We are looking for an organized leader and problem solver who has demonstrated experience in process development, implementation, and continuous improvement. This dual role will require driving the Global Quality Management System adherence across the SEE operational network; including all relevant internal/external audit management, partnership with regulatory/legal entities, and support of the tactical/regional Quality Operations Leaders for the same. Additionally, this role has leadership of Quality performance for the External Partner network for SEE. This includes extensive partnership with the SEE Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and Portfolio organizations to ensure external manufacturing can meet our customer requirements for Quality.

 

Job Objectives:
•    Support the SEE External Partner network to detect, define, contain, investigate, resolve, and prevent the reoccurrence of quality issues impacting SEE customers.
•    Improve and develop the capability of SEE External Partners to execute to the SEE Flawless Quality standard for all critical Quality KPIs (PPM and Blocked Stock).
•    Enable Global QMS adherence across all SEE operational entities via the Global Quality Excellent Audit Program
•    Support the Quality Operations Regional Leaders to drive Flawless Quality within their region(s)
•    Partner with Digital Solutions Team to ensure implementation and continuous improvement of our Global QMS web-based Application – ETQ

 

 

Qualifications:


•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline required
•    Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, preferably in manufacturing
•    Knowledge Six Sigma including techniques (Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred)
•    Project Management experience required including schedule creation, use of work-breakdown structures, communication plans, etc.)
•    Organizational abilities in ensuring workstreams are aligned to activities, projects, or initiatives
•    Global/multi-site work experience preferred
•    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•    Strong ability to present technical information
•    Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate, develop, and support a broad team with varied priorities
•    Ability to influence others without formal authority
•    Ability to work well cross-functionally with groups in all areas of the business 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required
•    SAP or similar manufacturing data systems experience required
•    Experience with plastics manufacturing, extrusion, printing, or converting preferred

 


Travel Expectations: 
•    Some travel will be required for this position within the U.S. and possibly internationally.
•    Travel requirements not expected to exceed 20%.
