Position Summary

An entry-level position that will train for a period of up to 6 months before being considered for Intermediate or Advanced positions within Logistics.An entry-level position that will train for a period of up to 6 months before being considered for Intermediate or Advanced positions within Logistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive materials from outside vendors and other site locations
Utilize SAP to document receipt of finished goods and for outbound shipments
Loads trailers by following diagrams to ensure the trailers meet weight requirements
Perform visual inventory audits and confirm they match to actual records
Ensures that the trailers are inspected and safety procedures are followed
Unloads trailers and stages materials on the shipping floor
Monitors outgoing materials comparing identifying information and counting weighing andor measuring items to verify accuracy
Operate cutting machinery
Read and understand production schedules and tasks
Load or Unload trailers by following diagrams to ensure the trailers meet weight requirements
Ensures that the trailers are inspected and safety procedures are followed
Unloads trailers and stages materials on the shipping floor
Able to use machinery including corecutting machinery safely and effectively
Inspects outgoing materials comparing identifying information and counting weighing andor measuring items to verify accuracy
Puts away inbound items Examines incoming materials to ensure that they are intact and damage free
Pull items for further processing according to supervisors instructions Determine area and location for transfer of material Records all shortages and damages and reports issues to team leader for further investigation
Flexibility within a highperformance work environment
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
Able to work without close supervision
Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained
Follow production schedules to make informed decisions
Continuously lift up to 39 pounds.

Education and Requirements

Education
    High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Requirements 
    Able to work required assigned shifts
    Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
    Able to work without close supervision
    Able to learn and apply new skills
