Job Description

Position Summary: $15.85 +.80 Shift Differential

As a Packer at SEE you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products' efficient and accurate packaging. You will be responsible for inspecting, preparing, and packing goods while adhering to quality standards and safety guidelines. The Packer's role is instrumental in guaranteeing our products reach customers in optimal condition and meet our high-quality standards. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Packaging Operations: Execute packaging tasks according to standard operating procedures to maintain product integrity and meet customer requirements. 

-Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects, ensuring only items meeting quality standards are packed, and report any issues or deviations to the supervisor. 

- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of packed goods and inventory levels, updating the system as needed. 

- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. 

- Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline packing processes and improve productivity without compromising quality. 

- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other team members and departments to achieve shared goals and foster a positive work environment. 

- Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the packing area clean, organized, and free from any potential hazards. 

- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance on packing equipment and report any malfunction to maintenance staff. 

- Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on the latest packing techniques and guidelines. 

Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 

- Experience: Prior experience in a packing or warehouse environment is an advantage but not mandatory. 

- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while performing repetitive tasks. 

- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. 

- Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills and willingness to contribute to a cohesive team environment. 

- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 

- Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to always following safety guidelines and protocols. 

- Adaptability: Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities. 

- Good Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. 

- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with using basic computer applications and data entry.
