What does a Service Engineer do?

The Service Engineer will help us to handle not only engineering works related to SEE equipment, but also serve as the ambassador to influence customers in engaging their business using SEE materials, spare parts and services; by their demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or service-based industry; targeting to the world class manufacturing.

Why we need you?

  • Your demonstrated equipment installation experience preferably with packaging machinery will help us in installation / commissioning of equipment in scope at customer’s plant as well as attending to breakdowns or machine issues and work to resolve for customer’s complete satisfaction.
  • Your demonstrated experience in servicing and troubleshooting automated systems will help in providing maintenance to the equipment as per customer’s service agreement or sales contract as well as actively promoting and “selling” service agreements and spare parts.
  • Your good understanding of packaging material applications and equipment will help us in conducting equipment audits with application specialist or sales department, ensuring the machines settings are optimal.
  • Your good communication skills in both English and Mandarin languages will help in developing a strong customer relationship to expand our existing equipment and service business as well as recommending the required spare parts stock, following up and identifying any gap
  • Your proficient knowledge with MS Word, Excel, Power Point will help in maintaining and updating all records related to customer’s equipment.
  • Your independence, flexibility, and ability to travel will be helpful in actively scouting for field service opportunities not only to promote service sales, but also to increase time utilization
