Job Description

This role responsibility is for a fully trained operator to operate packaging machines within a small team in the St Neots Plant

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To operate and run production lines and equipment to achieve agreed performance levels in terms of Quality, Rate and Yield, EH&S, Hygiene and House Keeping.
  • Ensure communication and information flows are effective and timely
  • Provide feedback to support maintenance/process-related decision making.
  • Work with and support the shift team in the timely trouble-shooting of process problems
  • Support the Team Perforamance Leader to ensure best practices including SOPs are understood and followed.
  • Participate in the continuous performance improvement of the Barrier Extrusion operation to achieve Best-in-Class capability and beyond.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding regarding new developments in products and processes

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of operating machinery and working in a production environment
  • ability to understand standard operating procedures
  • Effective Communication skills.
