What does a Sales Manager Digital Packaging do?

A Sales Manager Digital Packaging drives the growth of digital packaging solutions by blending expertise in digital printing and flexible packaging with a deep understanding of food packaging trends. They manage and support a team of commercial experts, oversee sales processes, and build strong customer relationships. This role involves proactively developing new business opportunities, managing commercial activities across the region, and collaborating with marketing teams to align strategies with key account needs. Additionally, they keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience in the packaging industry, with a strong preference for digital printing expertise.
  • Proven experience in sales with a strong background in building valuable client relationships.
  • Experience in people management is an advantage.
  • Strong ownership and initiative, with the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and openness to new ideas from diverse regions and companies.
  • Ability to influence, coordinate, and liaise across functions and countries.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to drive growth and align with key account requirements.
