SHIFT: Day Shift

COMPENSATION: For this position will be in the range starting at $38/hr., amount commiserate with education and experience. 

Scope of responsibilities (not all encompassing):

  • The primary workplace of the TML is the shop floor. They should be available as much as possible in that     location.
  • Leads the daily toolbox talk that includes safety and assignments.
  • Create weekly schedules for all crew members.
  • Coordinates work activities providing guidance throughout the shift concerning equipment priorities.
  • Monitors Craftsmen performance and audit activities to ensure personnel are performing their roles and provides feedback to assist in development of craftsmen.
  • Actively identifies sources of risk of injury and maintenance responsibility for risk mitigation using JHAs and Non-Routine Task Checklist as primary communication tool.
  • Ensures Craftsmen use standard work documents (job plans, check lists, SOPs, OEM Manuals/drawings etc.)
  • Monitors, directs, and coaches proper troubleshooting protocol (using history, source documents, and tools).
  • Performs corrective & preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Serves as a vessel for cascading information to the shifts.
  • Works with other areas TPLs to reallocate maintenance from area to area as need to support plant priorities.

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Training or advanced education in maintenance, a technical trade, or engineering preferred.
  • Working with the Maintenance Planner, ensures that weekly schedules for all crew members are followed. 
  • Previous experience in managing or supervising people is required. 
  • Demonstrated safety commitment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide praise and constructive feedback to develop those being lead.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
  • Positive people skills.
  • Experience in industrial electronics which would include troubleshooting and calibration on electronic instruments, is preferred
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance which would include fluid power, gas train, and pneumatic air system.
  • Proficient in Process and Instrumentation diagrams, electrical schematics, mechanical layout, and design.
  • Positive work history with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Computer aptitude, to include proficiency in MS Office, to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
  • SAP PM experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated accountability
